Poppy Parade
The Royal British Legion
The Royal British Legion is more famous for Remembrance events than the support it gives for today’s Armed Forces. To change that perception, we created the Poppy Parade, enlisting 30 modern veterans to carry the first poppy of the year from the charity’s headquarters, through central London, to the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street. The Parade served as a moving demonstration of the veterans who benefit from the money donated during the Poppy Appeal, generating headline news and helping to raise a record £43m.
