No Tent Left Behind
Decathlon
Decathlon is the largest sporting goods retailer in the world. Its mission is to make the best sports products – including its extensive range of tents and camping gear – accessible to everyone. Around 250,000 tents are left behind at festivals every year, so to help festivalgoers and the environment, we teamed up with music presenter Lauren Laverne and designer Jack Teagle to launch the Decathlon No Tent Left Behind pledge. Customers were able to buy and bring back its most-popular two-person tent, the Quechua, and offered a full refund as a reward for not leaving the £30 tent behind. Of course, once people experienced the tent, they decided to keep it, making it one of Decathlon’s most successful promotions.
