Moments Crew

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is a Norwegian family-owned operator that has been sailing for over 175 years. It runs a fleet of three smaller ships, which promise more intimate cruises (the crew will get to know you) that visit more interesting destinations (smaller ships are able to dock in smaller ports), and therefore guarantee more memorable moments. To demonstrate this unique point of difference – and raise an eyebrow in a category that tends to stick to familiar travel tropes – we appointed the industry’s first Moments Crew, a group of creative documentarians who would sail with Fred and capture guest’s big and small moments. Artist Jim Moir, writer Jenny Eclair and photographer Scarlet Page made up the first Fred. Olsen Moments Crew, generating over 300 pieces of coverage, a massive 48 per cent share of all cruise-related conversation during a key booking season, and increasing brand consideration by 12 per cent.
