True Cybercrime Stories

BT provides cybersecurity protection for millions of businesses across the UK, but it is an invisible war, understood by few outside the industry. To demonstrate thought-leadership, we produced the first true crime podcast series revealing the stories behind the most notorious cybercrimes. True Cybercrime Stories was narrated by actor Adrian Lester, who announced the podcast to BT Business colleagues in recognition of their cyber defence work protecting people, businesses, and critical national infrastructure. The campaign was then released across advertising, digital and PR, achieving 100s of pieces of earned media coverage and record levels of engagement.
