Strictly Come Cleaning
Kärcher is a cleaning technology company famous for its high-pressure washers. It also has a range of hard floor cleaners, which are popular in most European countries apart from the UK. The company needed a quick campaign that would get noticed, appeal to a mainstream audience, and ultimately sell through excess stock in time for the new season. We leant into the world of celebrity and convinced Strictly Come Dancing’s Anton Du Beke to perform with his most unusual dance partner to date, a Kärcher hard floor cleaner. Strictly Come Cleaning was an entertaining product demonstration that showed the floor cleaner in action. It cleaned up in terms of PR and social media coverage, and led to a 1,500% sales increase.
